This policy explains how AKARI Production Company, including AKARI Aerial ("AKARI," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information through akariproductionco.com and related website inquiries and orders.

When you contact us, request a quote, or discuss a project, we collect your email address, message, and any other details you choose to provide, such as your name, telephone number, company, event date, location, and production requirements. Please avoid submitting sensitive information that we do not need to respond to your request.

Orders and transactions. If you submit an order or complete a purchase, we collect the contact, billing, delivery, order, and transaction information needed to handle it. Any payment provider presented during payment processes payment information under its own privacy policy.

Website usage. Squarespace, our website host and analytics provider, collects information such as your IP address, browser, device, network, referring pages, pages viewed, clicks, searches, and timestamps. Cookies and similar technologies support site operation and analytics.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, coordinate and provide services, handle orders and customer support, maintain business and transaction records, understand website use, improve the site, protect against misuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell customer information or use customer contact details for targeted advertising.

Service Providers and Other Disclosures

Information is processed by Squarespace to host and operate the website, manage forms and store features, and provide analytics. Our email and business communication providers process inquiry information so we can respond. We share relevant information with payment, delivery, and project service providers when needed to carry out a transaction or service you request.

We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of our business and customers. Cookies, Analytics, and Embedded Content

This site uses required cookies for functions such as security and shopping carts, and analytics cookies to help us understand traffic and activity. At this policy’s effective date, non-essential Squarespace cookies are not restricted by a site cookie-consent banner. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect site features and does not necessarily stop all data collection.

Our Aerial page contains embedded Vimeo videos. Loading or interacting with embedded services may send your IP address, browser and device information, and page activity to the provider. Our website does not currently change its cookie behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Do Not Track is different from Global Privacy Control and other legally recognized opt-out signals. Contact us about privacy choices or rights that may apply to you.

Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam, fraud, and abuse. This service processes technical and interaction information for security checks and uses a necessary security cookie. Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including responding to requests, providing services, maintaining required tax and business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and the reason it is held. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information; no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
